Enjoy Barnsdall Outdoor Movies!
Bring a blanket and a picnic to enjoy outdoor screenings on the West Lawn of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House, perched on the beautiful Olive Hill at Barnsdall Park. Join us for beer, wine, and a modern classic film that showcases the architectural and historical uniqueness of Los Angeles. All screenings are 17+ to attend and 21+ to drink.
Doors open at 5:00pm.
Beer and Wine served 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Screening will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
Schedule + Tickets
All profits from the screening will benefit Barnsdall Art Park Foundation programs and projects, such as Free Sunday Art Classes for children and families in the community, as well as capital projects like the Monument Sign and restoration of the Hollyhock Motor Court.
Refreshments + Logistics
Beer + Wine City Sip will be offering three glasses of unique beer and wine selections. Come early, have a few drinks, and secure your spot in front of the screen. Ticket for Drinks and the Movie are $25 (which includes the suggested donation for the screening). Tickets for the movie only (no drink tickets) are $10. Additional glasses of beer or wine will be $5.
Food Bring a picnic! You are welcome to bring your own food, soft drinks, and a blanket; however, NO outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted.
Heirloom LA and Border Grill Truck will be serving up delicious food in the motor court outside of the Hollyhock house.
Parking Free parking is available at the top and bottom of Barnsdall Art Park. Handicap parking is available at the top. There will be free additional parking at the Kaiser Hospital on Sunset just west of Vermont Avenue.
Metro The Vermont/Sunset Red Line Metro station is right next to Barnsdall Art Park, as well as multiple bus lines.
Policies In the event of weather or event cancellation, a rain check will be provided for the rescheduled Barnsdall Movie Night. No refunds. Only LOW LAWN CHAIRS permitted. Be sure to bring warm clothes, hats, or blankets for when the sun goes down.
Valid Photo ID is required to partake in the Wine/Beer Tasting.
Dogs and animals are permitted on leash in the general park areas right outside the West Lawn, but are not permitted inside the gated West Lawn area.Presented by the Barnsdall Art Park Foundation, and co-sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs.
